because it used to go on thursdays at nine but now only smallville goes one episode from 8-9 and another from 9-10

It went on the little Christmas break, that all shows go on. It comes back on January 11 @ 9/8c.

Supernatural is still going strong,it returns next week.I think the only reason smallville has been doing double recently. Is because Smallville's been on longer. While this is only Supernatural's first returning year. So naturally in order to build up Thursday ratings.They show more Smallville,but don't worry Smallville's only got 1 year left. After Season 7 the show will be done for good. And Supernatural will be the main focus.

Xmas break, they are re-running the first appearances of the 4 main Guests who will be in Smallville's Justice episode in 3 weeks.
Supernatural is returning on Jan 11, as are original episodes of Smallville

No. It's going to start again soon. I saw commerials for it a few times but I was not paying attention to when its going to premiere. But its not cancelled! :)
