Depends on where you live, but i like driving to S.T. and i would say go to at least 2 games or more to get the whole experience, because they don't play their starters in spring training much, so if you want to see your favorite player and he is a star, you will want to try to see him at least 1 day. bring seat cushions, because the S.T. stadium seats are horrible. I have been to Florida 1 time and Arizona 3 times for S.T. and I had a good time, if you get there early enough and get good seats down low close to the field you can probably get autographs, and the food is A LOT cheaper then in the MLB stadiums. and mostly everything is cheaper, so if you bring say, 200 bucks, you can get a lot more then you would be able to get at a big league park. So, take this into consideration, and have fun.

I've been going to spring training in FL the last few years. You will need a car so maybing renting one might be your best bet. Try to get a hotel near a bunch of parks. The yankees play in tampa with detroit, blue jays, phillies amongst other not more than 30 minutes away. I usually stay in Tampa see a Yankee game or 2 and then venture out to some other parks. As far as autographs it depends on the stadium. You can get closer in some parks vs. others. Also some players are much more accomodating than others. The best part is being able to sit very close to the action and being able to yell at the players. You know they can hear you load and clear.

Start by planning out how much time, & what your budget will be. It sounds like you already have a location chosen,
I prefer to drive when I go, but depending on how far you have to drive that may not be practical, especially if it eats up too much of your time. You can always fly & rent a vehicle.
Check your teams website to see what the schedule is for their spring training games. If you have a friend or relative in the central FLA area it would sure help you w expenses.
When I go, I try to plan my trip so I can see my team as often as possible, & also any other clubs, (or players) I want to check out.
Be prepared to be flexible tho as many clubs play split squad games (where part of the team plays one game..while other guys are in another tonw playing a different team)
Games are fairly reasonable cost wise, but not cheap!! Few games are sold out, especially if you don't mind bleacher seats.
Players are very good about signing, but there are often 10-15 others crowding around, so be patient. I've found making eye contact helps, & a little old fashioned courtesy never hurts..."Mr Ripken could you sign for me PLEASE...."
Other than that...Have fun!! I've been to Florida spring training 4 times , & Arizona once. Feel free to email me for any additional ideas.

I hate the Yankees (sorry approximately that), yet i'll respond to your question. This baseball enthusiast turns right into a basketball enthusiast between the final game of the international sequence and the 1st game of here season! Rock chalk Jayhawk! As for whom are the Royals enjoying in first spring game, i don't comprehend, yet Rangers may well be an knowledgeable wager for the reason that they practice on an identical place.

i have been there before and if you are going to an open practice and if you want autographs get there early go to the fence between the practice field and the stadium but get neer the front of the line and go to the dugout on the right side and sit on the right side of that if you are tasking about the Yankees
