Well the current Patriots are like the Raiders of the 70's without getting caught. They late hit on nearly every play, and have the sportsmanship of a 3 year old. The "tuck" game was one of the worst calls in the history of pro sports, and then the Ty Law throwing Marvin Harrison to the ground no call was just as bad. People like winners, but not dirty winners.

That and the arrogance of Tom Brady. Sure in the Boston area he can do no wrong, but to have a national commercial slamming a division rival and calling them and their fans dumb, that takes the cake.

All this makes them easy to hate.

Because people hate to see their team get beat consistently by the same team. I have been dealing with it for year I'm a 49er fan and everyone hates the Niners. But I bet nobody cared when the Patriots weren't that good huh. People just hate losing so when there team loses they cant blame their team so they blame the team that beat them. Go Niners.

Because Bill Belichick wears that stupid hooded sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off every game. He looks like a bum.

Also because the Pats have the dumbest fans in America when it comes to football. They think Brady is so great....he's not that good. And then they say that Peyton Manning sucks when, in fact, he is one of the best QBs to play the game....ever.

Because Tom Brady is a big winer and the coach has a constant case of the flu.

Any coach that cant give congrats to a former assistant that beats his team, will obviously have enemies.

It's not so much hate as it is you get sick of seeing the same team win every year. They are and have been a great football team, but its always nice to see an under dog win once in a while.

I think they win in a way the NFL fans dislike - without a lot of hoopla, without fancy receivers and flashy running backs. They have the best backups in the league, and they have 12 guys on IR and are still 12-4. That is good coaching, that is good drafting!

They are boring to watch, all the Tom Brady dink and dunk passes for 5 yards at a time...and no stars to watch.

They are green with envy. The Giants could do with paying Pioli however much it takes to bring him to NY
