It's like they're constantly projecting that they're better than you or work harder than you simply because of their age or seniority.

Even worse is the "I DON'T care because they don't pay me enough to do so" attitudes. To these types: If your job is that big of a downer, quit already & stop dragging everyone else's moral down with your constant whining!

p.s. also sick of 'the excuse' people - "Oh, we have to let her slide about being on time because she has 3 young kids & her husband is an alcoholic, tsk, tsk" And that should give her special privleges because - why? Some of us just don't walk around telling everyone about our personal life & problems so they will pity us because we believe WORK is WORK, not a place to seek 'group therapy'. We may have issues, but we still make it on time. GRRRRR!

Sorry about the rant, guess it was time to vent - LOL!

No matter what age or type of employment, I believe that some people will never get it! It's a job, we need it to pay the rent and eat.

No doubt, there are those that think the guy at the top needs professional toe massage every day. They will do almost anything to be the one that is allowed to remove the shoe. That means they should be rude, cruel and have little common sense about life.

Unless the person that I actually report to is the culprit, I make it a point to express my opinion every chance I get. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Either way, I've learned that I'm the one who is stupid if I don't expect these kind of people to be crawling all over at my work place so, I'm ready for them always!
