I love Jimmy Buffett. He has released numerous albums. Recently his style has changed, but he keeps making great albums. Which is your favorite.

Finally I see a Parothead on here. I absoutely love "You had to be there" which is a live double album of his from back in the day. The opening gives me goosebumps. The coral reefers start jamming and then someone comes up and does this huge introduction for Jimmy. As Jimmy is comming on stage, the coral reefers (already jamming) go right into "Son of a Sailor". This is an earlier album so he's playng to a slightly smaller crowd than normal. The good side of that is he's not yelling over 50,000 people in between songs, but cracking jokes and telling stories to the audience. I also like "Feeding Frenzy" which is another live album, but I think "You had to be there" has a more intimate feel.

Wish You Were Here. I might like that albom the best. I like the differant versions of his early material. The extra verse in Magaritaville cracks me up. My favoite tune by Jimmy is A Pirate Looks At 40. With all due respect, I don't think his style has changed much. Music is what is always changing. He always had a heavy country music influence. It is just now that county music has changed to embace such musicians as Jimmy Buffet, John Mellencamp, Sheyl Crowe and even Kid Rock.

Hey Parrothead,
I to am a huge fan. I think my favorite album would be Tues. Thursday, Sat.. It has a little bit of old Jimmy plus some new stuff as well. His 2 lastest cd's are also great to listen to but the classic's are what made Jimmy who he is. Fins UP!!!!!
