I teach history in the UK. At GCSE we teach the Edexel syllabus, which contains:
1. The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union
2. The Emergence of Modern China
3. Conflict in the Middle East
All the topics you mention are covered in those units. Granted, not every school teaches all of them, because in that particular paper you only choose two topics out of about 10 - so, as it happens, in my school we only teach the Soviet Union (out of those three). We also teach Superpower Relations (ie. the Cold War) ... but we could easily have chosen one of the other two in the list above.
Forget "brainwashing" - the topics are there to be taught; but one can't cover everything, and choices have to be made.

Most of the Palestinian Arabs in the Trans-Jordan Palestine (Israel and Jordan) arrived there with their Hesimite Kings who the British installed following WWI. (From my incomplete study of the subject) In this case it might have to do with the polarization of the matter which makes obtaining un-bias sources near imposable. The true villain in this case is neither the Pals or the Jews but irresponsible policy's of Arab Leaders (and Irina) in the region using the passions of Arab solidarity as a red haring to divert attention from their failing domestic policies.
With regard to the communists.
Our own secular view prevents us from acknowledging that Secular lead Governments are responsible more human rights abuses and murders in the last 100 years than all the religions in the whole of history(including the Muslims) of the human race have committed. In simple terms because the truth is inconvenient for the current myth of Secularism and sectarianism as Superior paradigm's.

Didnt learn anything about this in school. I know a bit about russia from asking family and a few films. In History GCSE we learnt about medievil medicine (nonexistant) and American History (Mostly American Indians) I was dissapointed because I had hopped to learn more about ENGLISH history, about who our first kiing was and was king charlse or richard or whoever it was that got a poker up his bum was actually gay or what life was like in 1066 for the common people! They never teach you the fun things in history, which is why the Horrible History books were so much fun

This question is a pathetically thinly-veiled attempt to attack Jews.
