How do I clean my Swivel Sweeper?

I absolutely love this thing! It even picks up dog hair off of tile floors! I have no problem emptying the little tray that the dirt and hair gets put into, but there is dog hair all around the tray and in the bristles. Can I put it in the sink and just rinse it? Has anyone had any experience with this?

I love this thing too! Best invention since sliced bread, and great for any type of floor. As for cleaning it, I use an old comb to "comb" the animal hair out of the bristles, then once I have the bristles as clean as I can get them, I remove the parts and soak them in a sink of hot soapy water. Enjoy!
