Yes I sacked a cleaner, I went home (unexpectedly) after she had been there for two hours, she had not done any of the cleaning and was sitting watching TV eating some of my cold roast beef in a sandwich and had drunk half a bottle of my good wine. Yes I did enjoy it, she was lazy at the best, I was glad to get rid of her.

I sacked my older brother when I was a kid. No, I didn't enjoy it because I got into major sh*t with my parents for doing it.

I've sacked plenty of people, but I never enjoyed it. Too much empathy.

I suggest you watch your own back, your day will come when someone feels just as good about sacking you as you did about sacking this person who you feel good about, remember karma, it always comes back to bite you on the bum when you aren't looking.

The very first thing I had to do in my new position was fire someone.
I didn't really enjoy it because he was a nice guy just really crap at his job. I see him from time to time in town....he's fine but I always feel a little akward
