My son filed for divorce two years ago from his wife who is a Turkish citizen. She has been in hiding and has not been found for papers to be served. Can this divorce be granted in absentia? They have not seen each other in over 2 years.

Yes the absentia law becomes available to a person after their partner has been gone for a year. So in this case your son would not need to find his wife to sign the papers. His lawyer should be able to file all the neccesary paperwork. I hope this helped you out.
