Well, I'd argue that depends entirely on what you define love as, which is a pretty fuzzy area itself. I tend to think it's both Abstract, and concrete. There is Process there, for certain, and the mechanics of it both chemically and Psychologically are most definitely 'concrete', but the concept, the feeling and the state of 'love' are as abstract as you are subjective, which is totally when you're experiencing it.
so like many other things, it's equal parts both, and necessarily both, as love is some thing you don't just feel or understand - it's something you Know.
And as i said, depends on your definition.Abstract/Concrete the love of a little girl for her big sister, and the love of a man for a fine scotch for instance, are most likely primarily one or the other.

While we're at it: Is the concept of Abstraction, Concrete? Is the concept of the Concrete, Abstract?

Do humans interperet some things as questions, when in fact they are just partially visible, briefly exposed aspects of much deeper, heavily obscured, Encrypted and only imperfectly perceptible things?

hmm, this can really go both ways just depending on the person your asking. Some would say neither b/c it's a feeling but, love, its a powerful thing if you think about it. Someone who found "true love" as they call would say it is concrete and yet abstract because of how magical it could have been. Maybe be someone who found love in another way would call it abstract; its there but you just can really see it. You know? I can see it in both ways. Abstract in the way it happens and how it makes you feel, how it makes you see things in a different light/way. Concrete because to me it would be something that is there, if it is true love and most importantly mutual. love in that way would be something I could depend on, as in "it would always be there."
But of course that's just me.
I like the question by the way; unique.

Abstract. Love changes with every person, situation, and individual life. You never know when you will fall in love, most of the time it hits you hard on the head when you least expect it. It has no guidelines to keep it the same for all.

Love is abstract because the actual emotion has no material/physical equivalent.

Both...it's been proven that love is actually an addiction to brain chemicals. Scientists have not pinned the other aspect though, which is a sort of spiritual.

neither. its nonexistant. at least in the form that people consider. there is no such thing as unconditional love. nothing that can overcome the instincts of the human race.
