Besides the fact that the major and cable networks have correspondents all over the place there are blogs and web sites that have a constant flow of information that the shows can rely on. Associated press, Reuters, Drudge, Town hall and a bunch of others are out there willing to sell their information for advertising or, sometimes they just give it away.
