I would be almost certain he's a lefty.
I read a study a few years ago about left-handers. Basically it said they use both sides of their brain more than righties do, making them more versatile and likely to develop ambidexterity. Think about it, you probably know left-handed players that play with their left hands yet write, golf, maybe even throw with their right hands. The study also stated the belief that any ambidextrous person was most likely left-handed.
To date, of all the left-handers I've known, I've only seen ONE that did EVERYTHING left-handed.
