murder is never ever EVER justified. ever. there is not one excuse in the world. not the death penalty, not saddam, not being beaten every single day by your abusive husband, not because your son was killed, not self defense, not because you were raped, not abortion. there is NEVER an excuse. that guy had a choice. he could have kicked her out. he could have gotten a divorce, he could have even beat the living crap out of her, which is wrong, but murder is unforgivable, in my eyes.

my father was murdered and i'm not one of those crazy people trying to kill him. i'm glad they got life in jail instead of the death penalty and giving them the easy way out.

to answer your question, there is something called a mitigating factor, which makes it less wrong that you killed this person. like he abused you for 10 years, and you finally got fed up with it and killed him. something like that. that might fall under that but i seriously doubt it considering that she wasn't endangering his life by telling her mother everything.

I agree with you in some cases, but in this case he has to pay for his crime. Unfortunately we don't learn to control our emotions. I know that she did terrible but we have to learn to to cope with this kind of situations in life, he did good by trying to make things work but what he did is terrible and no one has the right to take anyone life, no matter how horrible things are.
