my mother always cooked and cleaned when I lived at home. Women of today are so lazy it makes me sick why?

Stop trying to be equal and start scrubbing those dishes!

I have it the best. I work 2 jobs and bring home over 140k a year...therefore my days are pretty busy. My wife stays home with our 2 boys, she cleans the house, cooks, raises the children. So i can say the both of us have it equally rough. I think ours is the healthiest household of all. The kids are raised right, fed, the house is clean, while I bring home the dough, the wife and I drive nice cars, gorgeous house. I love my life. My wife cooks awesome!!

Women are missing the point and being defensive, as usual. I cook, clean, make six figures, work out regularly, consult on the side........and more. I still cook my food daily, keep a very clean house, with a busy schedule. I AGREE, a lot of these women are LAZY. Any women who keeps a nasty house is NASTY! Period. I've had many too many girlfriends (educated) who think that are LAZY. That is what I've concluded long ago.

These women nowadays are so concerned with being equal instead of playing their part while I play mine. We are NOT equal. Women are made to be nurturing, pleasant, beautiful, feminine.......but NO, you want to be equal and aggressive, unbearable, abrasive..... That is the problem. As a man I want to treat my women like a queen, but these women NOWADAYS don't compel a man to. When we see those unappealing qualities. When hut and run.

And no I'm not a chauvinist pig.....It's true, feminism has destroyed interrelations of men and women. Smh.......

Well maybe if your mother had spent some time teaching you good manners...........

When you are a guest in someone's house, you should be polite and respect your host. How would you like someone telling you how to behave in your own house? I will admit that her housekeeping skills sound pretty appaulling, but it isn't your place to boss her around and maybe she had just not got round to cleaning up or was not expecting company.

My husband and I both work and we both take turns at cooking and cleaning. I don't see the problem with men and women sharing the chores, unless men have some kind of aversion to wearing an apron or getting a little dirty?

HTH : )

Women work just like men. If you really were her friend you would have helped her clean it up or cook.. men need to learn as children how to cook and clean just like girls. supposing your wife or significant other get sick or worse dies? what do you do take them to your mommy? These days mothers and grandmothers are busy too. That's equality and I would have thrown you out too. You're a knuckle dragger!

No offense, Josh but with all of the responsibilities on women today such as child rearing, jobs, taking care of the home, and all else that women do, what do YOU do to help ?

I am one of the last generation of women who still cooks and cleans, rarely eating out. But with all of the other responsibilities I have 24/7 with no holidays off or sick time off, it gets overwhelming.

Most men can come home, do what they want to do, and bark orders at their wives or girlfriends to cook, clean, and keep the kids quiet while they fall asleep with the remote in hand.

Double standard ? You bet ! When you're in a relationship with someone, it's supposed to be a partnership and not a dictatorship.

Then maybe you should go back home. How old are you?, and you can't make yourself a meal. You don't need to be going to no one's house and telling them what they should have done. I cook and clean for my son because he's 5, and I have a full time job and go to school, don't tell me that I'm lazy if my house is not spotless. I think your lazy if your asking a girl, who your just hanging out with to cook for you.

I'm not lazy! I know I work harder than a lot of men. I cook dinner when I want to not because my husband expects it. When I do he is genuinely appreciative. If I'm tired when I get home from work I don't cook, he knows where the kitchen is if he gets hungry. I expect him to clean up any messes he makes. I'm not his maid. If he wore it he can wash it. If he got it dirty he can clean it. Our marriage is a partnership not a dictatorship. I suppose you want your woman to hold a career too while you sit on your lazy butt like a king and expect everyone to cater to you. Forget it not in my home.

I won't wish you good luck in finding a woman to suit you as I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
