I have never come across an american who can out drink me or any of my mates. I am from the UK.

a) They have "light beer". I don't even know what that is.
b) They can't tell the difference between lager, bitter, ale, and stout.
c) They don't get to (legally) start till they're 21 and while all Brits are alcoholics from the age of 14.

We don't have real beer on this side of the pond.
We have a substance with the approximate strength of diet ginger ale that we put a drop of ethyl alcohol in -one drop per gallon- and then market.
Nothing like a good Guinnes Stout. God bless Ireland.

Americans have a problem when it comes to UK beer. It contains a chemical called ethyl alcohol that makes Americans fall over. American beer contains very little of this noxious substance.

yeah, I know what you mean legally, us British aren't allowed to drink until we're 18, but we start at a younger age than that! And we can outdrink the Canadians too!

im from texas and i aint met anyone who can outdrink me. and i've drank with a lot of people. including some irishmen that said the same thing about 5 hours before they got kicked out of the bar cuz one of them threw up on the floor.
