Please refer to this article.http://health.yahoo.com/experts/menlovesex/10734 I am happily married with a wonderful husb. and baby But I also am curious of things obviously everyone is always trying to figure out such as this article. Are things really so sad that women are always blamed? I do not even get the married men who feel no guilt at going out for happy hours to strip clubs with friends while their wife is home with babies Do they really think she'd rather babysit while they have a bachelor night out? Are those men really that disrespectful to their wives or are some wives just happy with being bought out and taking it?I cannot figure it out?I think most girls I know would be hiring a sitter to have a girl night out if she knew a guy was out having a happy hour-my point is for ladies, keep your eyes open and do not let yourself be treated badlywhile your husband is paying off women to watch them dance or drink beers to escape you. My point here is about disrespect not balance

Is that REALLY how you read that article?

I think it's sad that after all this time men and women speak such different dialects of English.

I had a conversation with a coworker this morning. Everyone knows that women love and need attention, affection. But nobody ever seems to think that men do. They don't want or need compliments, back rubs, or breakfast made for them on Saturday before they get out of bed. They think that men are made of stone and only need sex, not LOVE. They want someone who makes them feel good. If a guy's wife made him feel as good as that stripper did, he'd be at home with her.

I am not justifying such behavior. An explanation does not constitute an excuse. I am just saying most men married 5 or more years will tell you they get little to no affection from their wives and that's why they are unhappy.

Do you believe everything you read?

Ask yourself these questions.
To WHO is the article directed at?
Are the alienating their audience?
If they played down the bad guy would the article be so good?
How would the article change if in place of "strip clubs & bars" it was a "men's religious retreat". Note the problem hasn't changed only location.

Articles and the News are written with "Shock" value added because more people will pay attention that way.
