He was abusive to our son, has disowned our son, was never there for or supported us and now he wants our daughter. She doesn't know him because he was always running around doing dope with his buddies. He would be gone for 3 to 8 weeks at a time. We had to live with whomever would take me and the kids in because he wouldn't work and support us. He was so cruel to my oldest daughter (shes not his) that I had to send her to live with my dad. What can I do to get him out of my childrens lives permanently? (don't say KILL HIM! & don't put me down for the bad choices I made- I truly need help!)

GO TO COURT WITH ANY AND EVERYONE THAT CAN PROVE THE THINGS YOU JUST TOLD US, that includes your oldest...believe it or not that will work most of the time. and don't forget to file for sole physical "and" legal custody of your children and that will stop him from being able to just come and take the kids whenever he wants to...GOOD LUCK, and don't let people put you down because of your past mistakes, we've all made them a time or two...

You will need to be able to prove that the things you have said actually happened. Has he been arrested for violence? Can you show that he has not been paying child support? Can you prove abandonment? If you can show these things, it is much easier for a judge to make that call, but it you are just going in with the old "he said, she said" case, chances are you will not be successful in having him declared unfit. Contact child protective services as well and they can help advise you on a course of action that is within your states laws.

in the court of law you have to provide proof to back up your statements, but since your the women and im thinking you have custody already he has to prove that you are an unfit mother before he can even think about taking custody, the courts tend to lean toward the mother and not the father, whoever has custody now has the upper hand no matter, also the judge got my friend with this statement he ask who left who with the kids when yall split up, he knew it was over when he said that

WHy do you need to waste time declaring him unfit.
MOVE
if he gets drunk and/or high, chances are that he wont even know you are gone for quite some time.
IF that is not an option, take him in for child support. HE wont pay and he can get arrested.
That should remove him from your life for a very long time.

APOLOGIZE to your daughter (the one that is not his) and beg her for forgiveness.
WHAT DID YOU EVER SEE IN HIM?
