Currently Dirk because KG isn't going anywhere while Dirk is dragging the Mavs to the finals. In terms of skills they are about the same, but at the moment the fact that Dirk leads his team better makes him a better player.

KG baby. The Kid is a monster in the paint. Plus, he'll give you a three if you REALLY want it. Dirk a monster in the paint? He's workin on it but....not so much.

The real reason I pick KG is defense. He's an "Eraser", meaning when someone makes a mistake defensively, like getting beat to the basket, KG will make it look planned by blocking that crap to the nosebleeds. Dirk? Not so much...

Technically, Dirk is the better player. But Garnett has more natural talent. I'd have to say Dirk cuz he can be on that great team and still stand out. Of course KG stands out, he's the only good one on the T' Wolves.

For all you people that like KG he was good, aint good no more.
Dirk is the obvious choice I played agianst in the Finals and let me tell you something. His post might stink. But he can shoot the ball. Best PF shooter.

I think KG is better but if he just improved his 3's, he will be better than Dirk. Dirk is not an explosive dunker.

id say kg because kg has the natural talent but he has a shitty team dirk has alot of weapons around him that alows him to do whatever he wants.kg is kg and will always be kg i just hope he gets traded to a team with good talent that will alow him to win a ring because he is so deserving of it
