Yes they are salvageable. First contact you insurance company, your cloths should be covered under contents in your homeowners policy. Ask them is they deal with any fire restoration dry cleaners, see what you get. Then ask if you pick your own cleaner will they reimburse you providing you submit all bills. Then start calling some quality dry cleaners in your area. Ask if they do fire restoration work, ask do they wet clean and use a ozone method. These are the best ways to get the smoke smell out. If they say they don't wet clean, but dry clean and use ozone you are good. Wet cleaning is not just washing so watch what you try and do your self. Find out from the cleaner if you will want payment on completion or will he wait for the insurance check. There are a group of cleaner who belong to the " Certified Restoration Dry-Cleaning network" Check and see if you can find a cleaner in your area who is a member and they will be the best to assist you. If you go on-line and type fire restoration you will get some links Good luck hope this helped.

If they are washable, then just wash them. If not, a dry cleaner can take care of them.
