Will Jesse Jackson and Rev Al grace our T.V.'s with nationally televised apology for calling 3 young innocent men rapists and destroying their lives ?
Kramer had to apologize for saying the n- word to a couple of thugs heckling him while he was doing his job. Kramer didn't ruin anyone's life or damage anyone's reputation with the n- word.

However the Duke lacrosses players have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending themselves against a racially motivated prosecution for a crime that never happened.

How do we right this wrong- we will always remember these boys faces- yet we have never seen their accuser- who apparently didn't see as much of them as she would have liked to think?

Of course they won't.

Here's what I think they would say

Even if they didn't rape her, they oppressed her by hiring her to preform for them. They didn't treat her any better then the master did the slaves. They forced this woman to expose herself for their pleasure, and that in itself is oppressive. How would they like their mother treated this way? I ask you, who would you like to be treated this way? A woman should not have to expose herself just to feed herself, to cloth herself, to put herself though school. What kind of country have we become? When a woman must degrade herself just to provide for herself? ETC.

I could go on and on, but I think you see my point. They see themselves right no matter what.

But this is just my opinion

Good question. But you see, when the truth comes out people like Sharpton and jackson who are only out there to get exposure, run for cover when the story turns. It happens all the time where people are convicted in the press. That is why I take every story i hear with a grain of salt until the story is resolved. Some of these so-called "leaders" should do that as well, wait until the case is resolved, through a verdict or otherwise. Speculation and jumping on every crumb to get camera and microphone time is a common thing these days.

Of course not. Sharpton and Jackson are both what I term race hustlers. They use events like the Duke Lacrosse scandal to promote what they want. Unfortunately, the major media does not have the gumption to call them out in fear of being called racists. Could you imagine the outrage if their was a White or Caucasian Entertainment Network? My question is how long must we pay for what we did not do?

How many times have people from all races been accused of crimes they didn't commit? Did anyone apologize when Susan Smith blamed a made up black man for kidnapping her children when SHE was the one who drowned them? Nope. Granted, Sharpton & Jackson shouldn't have played the race card concerning this situation because it wasn't a race issue. I feel they SHOULD apologize but they won't. Judging from some of the narrow minded, racists answers this question has received, I can still see how racism is alive & well in this country. It's 2007 and it's amazing to me that people are still ignorant enough to think they are actually superior to another human being because of skin color. White America wonders why black Americans are so sensitive about race and then I come on Yahoo Answers and see ignorant answers like the ones I've read. You can't really complain about how reversed racism is oh-so-wrong when seemingly, so many people still think being racists is ok. Just goes to show how how far we've really come.

I don't know if an apology will ever happen. What is bad about this is that when rapes do occur, authorities will be less apt to believe the women. People should never make up things like this.

Thank God we have science of DNA now.

Al Sharpton is shaggy dog tale. Black individuals desire a frontrunner who easily cares about practise them and in no way practise them to spend their lives hating all of us, and blaming the full usa for there issues. There are some black human beings obtainable who've performed very well for themselves. yet, they did it by operating troublesome, aiming extreme, and giving it there all. they did not like it handed to them. i'm white and human beings in skill are literally not doing something to assist me and my ancesters did not own slaves. yet AL and Jessie are unlikely to assist me any. not all whites owned slaves. Alot of whites got here to this usa lengthy after the slavery days or perhaps after the 70's and 80's , etc

There is no "up side" for them to do this. It will not happen.

Another example of those who complain the loudest about racism, yet are a major part of the problem and not a part of the solution.

Nobody, because race card playing gorillas like Sharpton and Jackson are too proud to apologize to "whitey". I will never forget how Sharpton made an azz of himself back in the 80s' with the whole Tawana Brawley incident, because it turned out to be a hoax perpetrated by a naive, stupid, bored, and very dumb little black girl from the projects who wanted her 15 minutes of fame on national TV.

This stripper played the same game when she claimed she was raped, but the truth always comes out because s-h-i-t always floats to the top with these whoring ghetto apes.

Plus, I have yet to hear of any legitimate stories of black girls being raped by white guys, yet I always expect to hear white girls being raped by black guys. The prison population alone proves my point, so call me a racist all you want...the truth cannot be denied here.
