how does astrology science work ?

It's completely made up but has a mysterious air around it because of its ancient origins. Don't believe a word of it.

I heard about an experiment once and repeated it in a class I was teaching -- everyone was divided into groups based on their horoscope and I then distributed a special list of character traits based on that star sign to the groups. They had to agree or disagree with the description. Over 80% of them agreed (about 50 people) -- only then did I tell them that every group got exactly the same list of character traits. The power of suggestion is strong, especially when something has the feeling of having some kind of "ancient authority" to it.

Astrology is based on the zodiac, which is the 12 constellations the sun "goes through" during the year. That was well and good thousands of years ago, but the sun now "goes through" 13 constellations instead of 12. Astrologers have yet to update their system, however.

This question is really difficult to answer, because as an observant of objective matters, astrology is based in simple theories from several sources of energies that get manifest in those persons who were born under an specific horoscope; this kind of astrological thinking can be irreverent and in many times subjective, just because it depends from the point of view of the astrologer. But in the other hand there exists a huge coherent relation between the astrologer prediction, and the happening that occur in a person and in his character; into a society or etc. Obiously we have here an antithesis of the proper observance of thought and cause and effect matters.

Astrology is a group of systems, traditions, and beliefs in which knowledge of the relative positions of celestial bodies and related details is held to be useful in understanding, interpreting, and organizing information about personality, human affairs, and other terrestrial events. A practitioner of astrology is called an astrologer, or, less often, an astrologist. Historically, the term mathematicus was used to denote a person proficient in astrology, astronomy, and mathematics.[1][2]

Ya of course it works. Actually it is 75% related with the scientific factors on earth. Whatever for that matter in astrology everything is one or the other way related to science, which can be believed.

ok I will explain you better, now listen whatever the astronauts or numerologist or other stuffs say will always tell you such things which will always be your good health related. Like they will tell you such things which your mind will feel good about and if mind is in euphoria your health will be in good condition and so good things are bound to happen. So u can always believe. Sometimes you got to take care about bad things, dont be over concerned, but just take a casual care. NOTE: You just dont have to wholly depend on it.

I've done a birth chart for myself using a book once. It takes the alignment of the planets (and Pluto, since it got downgraded since then), determines where they were at your time of birth, and then states when and what kind of phenomenon will happen to you during certain months and years. It's vague, but it was surprisingly accurate as to timing.

However, I still wouldn't put a lot of stock into it. I believe one should maintain the thinking that there are things out there that are not understood, and may never be understood. It's important to have a little form of spirituality in one form or another, but remember to keep your basis for thinking grounded in the rational.

it observes and relates patterns in society, personality and moods in a person. with patterns in the sky usin relative positions of planets or other astrological entitys to earth.

it has not been recorded if there is any type of force that can proove astrological predictions are true, there is a certain amount of faith needed to be put into it that it is true.

Astrology essentially says that the pull of the planets above you at the moment you are born determine your personality and influence you during your life. It's a bunch of hogwash, if you ask me. The closest planet will be tens of millions of miles from you at any given moment - maybe hundreds of millions. Your neighbor's car has a stronger gravitational attraction to you than any of the planets do. But nobody ever says that you're a born leader because your neighbor drives a Buick, do they?

Study it and then draw your own conclusion to see if its worth believing. No one can tell you that. You have to find out if you believe in it or not on your own. Go and do your own research on astrology.

Not so much to believe, but it is fun to read and talk about because the personalities are so true of people born under their star signs.
