I have a stallion with two subaceous cysts(I think) on the top of his back just below the spinal column. He got very nervous the other day when I was riding. When I took off the saddle i saw the two cysts which may or may not have anything to do with his behavior. How do I treat them? any advice would be much appreciated. I'm in spain

I would check witht the vet to make sure they are cysts. Horses bruise very easily and they probably are just fluid- you may need a drainage tube, or to remove it hypodermically, but there are some cancers that start out as fluid feeling or hard bumps- call the vet.

As for them being under the saddle- are you sure that your saddle fits him correctly? A saddle that is rubbing or that doesn't fit correctly can cause spots of white hair, sores, or even abrasions.
