Don a pair of gloves and use hydrogen peroxide. I use an eye dropper to control the amount and not saturate the area. Use a disposable paper towel to blot away the excess liquid once it stops foaming. It won't damage leather, canvass or the new nylon materials they use on sneakers.

chilly water - first soak for further or less 5 minutes then turn it so the water runs from the lower back by the blood (if the comforter isn't too thick). do not soak for lengthy because the water will turn red and stain the full area. gently rub with a smooth previous toothbrush and some really basic cleansing soap (you do not desire a basic colored patch there from utilizing sturdy cleansing soap or scrubbing too troublesome). gently rub mutually by hand. even as no blood is seen wash on gently with chilly water and enable air dry (in case you run it by the dryer and missed any blood the nice and cozy temperature from the dryer will set it completely).

eww, throw them out and buy new ones! Lord knows what the patient had! Also, tell him to wear those sneaker covers. I had a friend who was a nurse and she never brought any of her clothes from the hospital into her home. Yes, she was a germophobe, and I don't blame her. Sick people are gross.

Its kind of gross, but white powdered meat tenderizer works well too. Make kind of a paste, use gloves of course, in case of any infections, spread on, let sit, wash in hot, with soap to disinfect. These have now become his "work shoes" BTW.

You can put leather sneaks in the washing machine. Just don't put them in the dryer.
Use an OxyClean type product and cold water.
