i dont want to wear a skirt tho, and wot jewelry wud i recomend im in a big dilemma and im going out! but i dont want to look too over dressed or too underdressed?

Why don't you want to wear a skirt? If you hadn't said that I would recommend a denim skirt, but you could wear a dress with a wide belt cinched at the waist.
What colour are your leggings?
If they're black, I would wear silver or red ballet flats and a bold patterned dress with silver/grey and red.
If they're brown, I would say gold ballet flats and a bold patterned dress with beige, gold and a dark brown.
For jewellery I would say big pieces, if you have brown legging I would say a big wooden necklace, or if they're black a big colourful piece.

I'm assumign the lggings are the normal black ones (they have such cool silver ones in topshop though!) anyhow, i agree witht the dresses, but it should be a shift dress as they always look really nice with leggings-http://mimostyle.webblogg.se/images/katecopy_1140543347.jpg -

This kate moss style look is pretty fashionable. If you have a short dress then great! otherwise a long retro baggy t-shirt with a belt around the hips will look pretty cool and not over dressed, teamed with earings will glam it up. Have fun tonight!

With leggings that reach the calf you can wear a long sweater that is fitted and goes down till your upper thigh. To make it even more stylish you can wear a slim belt around your waist over the sweater. And flat shoes will complete the outfit; even better if you are tall. To finish the look I would suggest wearing a nice pair of long dangly earrings only, no necklace necessary, to keep it simple and elegant.

topshop have got some really nice pinafore dresses with big buttons on the straps and the wide straps cross over at the back. I think they come in a few colours, that look great with legging and flats! They're have a lovely shape and you could wear this outfit to dress up, without looking too dressed up! :)

Wear an oversized sweater or a summer dress. If it's winter, put on a long sleeve shirt under the dress. Or just wear a normal skirt with the leggings. Anything works just fine.

There are loads of sixties style short dreeses around at the moment.Wear one that is slightly flared and in the bright retro colours.You can wear them belted or left lose and they look great with leggings,flat pumps,large plastic earrings and a hairband.Carry a simple 60's style clutch bag to finish the look.

yeah, who said you had to wear flats if you're tall? im 5'10'' and my husband is 3 inches shorter than me in my socks- even shorter when im wearing heels! celebrate your tallness. arent you glad you're not short? if shorties gain 5 pounds anywhere you can tell right away. not us, my friend! wear leggings with pointy heels. miniskirts look best with them, but if you dont want to wear one, try layering really long tunics. belt low on the hips, bangles. its really easy. act like you own it. all my girls out there that have read the bell jar know that it doesnt matter what you're doing- just do it with confidence and it will look like the most natural thing on earth!

Try a long fitted chunky sweater dress. I've seen stars wear leggings this way. And, to accentuate your waist, use a cute belt over the sweater.

I work in a trendy fashion store and we have really cute mini shorts that are grey with a white pinstripe and liik fabulous with a white button up longsleeved shirt and a corset style top that you can wear either underneath or on top of...your accessory choices are what would dress it up or down....good luck!!

either opt for something like a mini dress or a long jumper, or go for a long top which always looks nice with leggings.
also some grey or black shorts look reeli nice..one of my fave things to wear at the moment and looks fab
whatever you choose to wear team with simple jewellery and your done
