Yes the judicial system does treat the wealthy different than other people. If you are a common person and you embezzle from a company you are going to jail for years and it will not be to a jail that offers you comforts like a hotel room, but if you are wealthy then you simply made a small mistake that should not be punished by lengthy jail time, besides look at the contributions that you make to society over the small and poor so yes the system does treat the wealthy and famous to a far different type of justice over the ordinary person.
