that will depend on if u do it urself, or have the harley shop do it. it isnt that difficult to do a rejet urself if u have the proper instructions. generally, harley shops will charge u about 60 an hour in this area, but i hear in other places, shop time is pricey.
while ur doing the rejet, put on a high flow air cleaner, then some screamin eagle pipes to complete the job. ya just did the stage 1 upgrade. enjoy.

Just had my 06 Sportster XL1200L done at the Harley Dealership. Changed the pilot jet to a 45 and had the carburator adjusted. 1 Hour Labor $70.00. Jet kit $15.

$25 for the jets and $16 for the case of beer you and your buddy will go through doing the job.

i would call around and get price quotes from your local shops since pricing varies from one area to another. i would also suggest you consider a high flow air filter, performance tuning, and performance pipes - all at the same time if thats the way you are going to go.

I usually buy my jets from J & P for about $3.00 each.They are not hard to change but a little time consuming.
