I believe Tide is the best detergent on the market. Soak your shirt in the washing machine with the detergent added to the water. If it is a all white shirt - add some clorox bleach - if it is a colored shirt add some all color non-chorline bleach like Clorox 2 to the soaking wash. After it has soaked really good complete the wash cycle and check to see if the ring is gone. If not repeat this wash process again.

Maybe this will work for you -
If you are allergic to Tide you could still use it to really clean a laundry problem - and then rewash the garment in your regular detergent.

Also you might try the Tide Free - this has no scents or perfumes added to the detergent.

Get a pumice stone in the grocery store laundry and cleaning products aisle. It comes in a box, and I think the name is something like "Chore Girl." You use it like an eraser on the hard water ring in the toilet. It looks weird while you are using it, because the gray pumice leaves little shavings in the toilet, but it won't scratch porcelain toilets, and it really gets the ring out.
