You're not going to get a good market estimate, because the software they use is based on average values that may be well below what your house is truly worth. You should pay a professional real estate appraiser to give you a true market value for your home if you plan on selling or taking out a home equity loan.

There are a few that will give you an estimate of your value, but not your true market value. For that, pay a licensed real estate appraiser. The following website will let you know what range you are in:
