It sounds more like a valve seal actually.either way you shouldn't be driving at this point.check the oil dipstick and if it has a white film on it then it's a head gasket.either way start looking for a used motor or take it to be rebuilt.good luck.
ps. don't listen to hot rod-he's an ***.

Sounds to me like you either need new valve guides or Piston rings, both of which can cause oil to enter the combustion chamber, allowing it to burn, at a fast rate. try doing a leak test, which is done with a hand held air pump and a mechanics stethoscope, when you pump it up, if it holds the compressed air from the pump, they usually have a guage, move to next cylinder, if it slowly goes down, you have a leak, to find it use the stethoscope to listen to the radiator, the intake, the exhaust, oil pan, and the valve train, if you hear a whistle of any kind, its leaking into where ever you hear the whistle, if its the radiator, blown head gasket, the intake, intake valve on that cylinder is not sealing properly, same for exhaust, oil pan, bad piston rings, and valve train, bad guides.

Could be a damaged piston or rings too. Do a compression check. Also, if you have a blown head gasket you may see bubbles in the radiator or reservoir water, and possibly water mixed in the oil pan (oil may look milky in this case).

very possibly, an easy way to tell is to pull your spark plugs and see iff any of them are super clean, if headgasket is leaking into cylinder the heat from the spark and fuel mix turns it to steam cleaning the inside of cylinder. or take it to a mechanic to check it out

Sounds like it, could also have stuffed valve stem seals

no your head gasket is just fine. your problem is you have the wrong gap on your spark plugs. re gap your plugs and add some sugar to your gas and the smoke will stop very quickly
