Only if you think they are. If I'm in the mood, I read my horoscope. If it makes absolutely no sense, I forget about it. If it's cool, I reflect on it. Choose the thing that works best for you. I've had really awesome/scary things happen to me after I read my tarot or horoscope, like, finding out that a boy liked me. Thy're actually kind of for fun.

Horoscopes are alternative realities. They could be true. The way I look at horoscopes is that they are things to consider. They represent, in words, the energies of the stars that are influencing me. They give clues to us about what we might experience on any given day. But it would be inappropriate to think of them as "true". Consider that they are each written for one twelfth of the people on Earth, including male and female of all ages, races, and people with all sorts of careers and life experiences. They walk the line between true and false.

No, horoscopes are most definitally not true. People believe they are because we as humans tend to slightly skew just about everything we come across to fit us. You know selective hearing and how people have different memories of the same event, even have different versions of what the same person said? Well, when we read horoscopes, we like to think that we fit the mold they're writing out. And generally, it's easy for us to do so, because when they write out descriptions of people in certain signs, what they'll do in situations, it's generalized, so things like that have happened to just about everyone on the planet. Really, it's just guesswork and entertainment for when someone else in your family has grabbed the comics before you can.

NO they are not true.
They are just worded so vaguely that you can imagine that what is happening is relevant to something you read there. If the horoscope says "bad news will come from the heavens" and then a bird cr*ps on your car, you could interpret that as proof that the horoscope came true.

Horoscopes like in the daily newspaper are not usually correct. They are bad attempts market something which needs no marketing...Astrology.
Astrology profiles like birth charts, sun signs, personality characteristics, and compatibilities are much more valuable and correct. I have never met a person who didn't fall right where they should astrologically.

personally i think horoscopes' validity depends on your own personal experiences and beliefs.. personally i think its really cool to have some sort of headstart for me before i start the day, and it would even be cooler to find that it all relates to you... I only find it coincidental, but I also think that they can be good guides in general.

It's mostly about how you interpret them. They are best used as a guide but I would not dig to deep into them for the meaning of where your life is headed.
