Do you write poetry if so what kind? I love to write and I love to write about myself and about my life. What about you guys? Can I read some of your poetry and you could read some of mine?

I love poetry! But I'm a better story-writer. Actually my teachers and friends tell me I've got talent for both! I hope you think so, too. I usually write free verse, standard, or haiku, and I'll write about anything! I'll make up a poem on the spot just for you to see.

Love

Love is that feeling
When nothing else matters
But the boy you see from miles away,
The one you think of everyday,
The one that makes your heart
Erupt like a volcano.
Love is that feeling
When you hate everything else
In your life
Except for him.
Love is when you could never hate him,
Love is when you pray he feels the same way.
Love is when you honestly can't help
But think of him every single day.
Love is the best feeling
In the world.

I do write, only kind of randomly. I don't really write poetry. The only poetry that has really affected anyone is this incredibly depressing poem which is very...gothic... Anyway, poetry isn't my main subject. But writing is still good. I have over 90 pages of journal(I didn't start too long ago). I just need to practice my style, though.

I used to write poetry and stories especially for children and young adults. I like this group because they have lots of imagination and can visualized what I am writing in the book. I like to write fantasy stories for children, drama like,a twist of mystery and poetry about love , nature, family relationship. I also did feature writing. Mostly important people in my place of work and some prominent places back home. I would sure love to read your poems. Good luck to your writing.
