Wow, that's a pain. I wonder if you really hated the braces and suppressed some of the feeling and made the best of it and didn't have the strength to face your feeling until now. It could be that something else in your life is causing a similar feeling and if you waited in the dream the new thing might come out too. The two probably go together. I had a dream and often the people change into other people and then the story changes. I figured out that they were two people that I had the same problem with and I was the worst problem. Usually when we have a problem w/someone we are really the worst offender and we project it on someone else. Anyway, in the dream the scene was changing but really the two people brought the problem in and then it changed to the story, but I didn't know that and opted out. Dreams are neat. The symbols teach you so much. If you want to know what anything is the idea comes in your head. I stopped having dreams for a while because when I was a kid I had these dreams about a scary dog so I said to myself, when I have that dream again I am going to know it is just a dream and not get afraid. The trouble was when I had a dream I liked I couldn;t enjoy the story because I realized I was dreaming and I would have to make the story up. I wanted to watch the story, not make it up. Can you imagine going to a movie and having to make up the ending. That would ruin the interest of seeing what comes next.
I am having a lot of success interpreting my thoughts when I am awake. The brain thinks in picture so when it tell you something you ask there is a picture behind it. If you keep asking questions about the answer it keeps giving you more information about the picture and a picture gives you a feeling too. That way you can guess how the brain works from the answers and learn from a picture not only the answer to the question but your place in the whole picture, what you should and should not do and other things. They call that intuition except most people dismiss the answer is the first place as impractical or something and don't realize that it is a whole picture that takes in account the whole situation you are in.
Can you believe, your brain is you so it know what you don't understand, how to tell you and the answers before you ask. The mind communicates with all your organs and they communicate with each other also, so it figures if your tired it might not be a good time and if your hungry, your emotions and even your thought. Wild. If people understood that in the answers you are actually having more or a relationship with your mind than just a cold thought. This opens up some real powers to the mind. Hey I don't want to bore you, but just in case anybody cares about themselves and their mind I'm at hbar24@yahoo.com If people knew the power they have dealing directly with the mind they would realy be happy because the right brain is positive, happy, it give answer where the left brain just asks them. The left brain is unhappy, can't see the forest for the trees, all into itself and what it wants and can't see the left brain but the left brain can see it and isn't fooled for a minute. I guess that sounds nuts but truth is stranger than fiction. The left brain just thinks what it's been thinking forever and doesn't come up with but a version of what it already thought. That's why our leaders and most people in the world don't have and idea what to do about much and the world is in the shape it is today. What they call reasoning is actually rationalizing what they want to think. Phooey. Tell me what you think, huh. Here's an article from the New York Times. It's just the begining few paragraphs that are most interesting.

Reoccuring dreams are usually related to stress, or emotions that you are feeling about other parts of your life....I would say your teeth, or braces represent another aspect or element of your life, something that whether you know it, or even subconsciously don't know it is having an effect on you.
Is something falling apart in your life, or do you worry about something falling apart? or do you feel like you are losing something? or losing control of something?
I had a reoccurring dream for 6 months where I died...scared the hell out of me...and mine had to do with my seperation from my family and friends...and it ended when I came to grips with a few things....and yours will pass too when what your are dealing with passes.

It could be sign. Or it could just be your subconcious mind. Do you have a fear about your teeth or something. Or maybe an insecurity about them. When I was a little girl I kept having a reoccuring dream about riding on a camel on the playgrpund at school. It was always a fantasy of me of riding a camel. Thats why I kept having the dream because subconciously I always wanted to ride a camel.

Well, see the link below. This person says it's a common dream image, and often it relates to you feeling like you're not being heard. I've certainly had that feeling in my life.

When you dream about losing your teeth or your braces, it signifys a fear of loss. You are afraid of losing something important or someone close to you.

It is a very common dream. I have that one too. There was a speaker at a luncheon I went to talking about dreams and that one in particular.
