Does caffeine really make a difference when ttc?

Dr.'s have really relaxed their opinions of caffeine while ttc. 15 years ago, when my older sister was ttc, she was told "No caffeine!!!", but when I was ttc 3 years ago, my Dr. said " A couple of cups of coffee a day is okay, just not 5!!" (And my sister and I had the same results -- we each have an angel boy!)
So, I think this rigid rule has been relaxed a little to allow some caffeine consumption.

At work a collage told me that I shouldn't take more than 2 a day
