I am a paramedic and (to put a slight spin on your question) what we like people to know about us is: What things cause the most stress in this job?
Most of us will not answer that it's trauma, etc but misuse of the ambulance service for minor ailments. It really frustrates us when people call us in this manner and we are then unable to respond to any real emergencies, or at best are delayed to any real emergencies.
We then get abused for apparently being slow to respond (vannie take note.)

I think one interesting fact that I've read about them that I didn't know was that they have to bid for contracts in cities where other ambulance services exist.
They used to be affiliated with a certain hospital, and now they are a business just like everything else. They have to go before the City Council and offer a bid to do business in that city.

comment; my aunt had to go to the hospital in an ambulance, the EMT's were wonderful with her(she is suffering with audio hallucinations and didn't want to go). Question? Was their thought fullness and profession ism in handing the situation with my aunt, part of their training, or were we just blessed to have the two that came?

I'd like to know how many hours they work, what wages they get, what kind of situations are they trained to handle. I'd also find it interesting how many people take the work, since it's so hard to do. It can't be any less interesting then working in the coast guard, I would say.

Well, I think that the work they do is very demanding, so in your paper I would write about why these people chose the career they did, money? wanting to help people? and ask them if they enjoy their work. I think those would be good things to write about.

whilst i became pregnant, i wanted my husband to %. the 1st call and me the 2nd, yet i became feeling comparable to your spouse, i became thinking he became only joking with a real call.... yet we've been given a competent call in spite of each thing, he picked the 1st and that i picked the 2nd, so do not subject, she would be ready to settle for the marvelous one on your infant, she in all probability thinks your infant is going to might desire to stay with that call until he or she is in a position to replace it for different call. One suggestion: write the names you like the main on a catalogue, then she writes the names she likes the main in different record, then evaluate them and %. from them.

I'm into gory details. So I would want to hear first-hand stories from them or about their experiences (but no stories about children!).
