Premonitions are when you know when something is going to happen before it does.

I believe that almost all human beings have premonitions. They can come in the form of dreams, a vision, that "little voice" that tells you it is so-and-so on the phone before you pick it up.

By the way, I am a psychic and I give readings. Yes, I am incredibly accurate.

It's when you have a deep certainty that something will happen, without any reason to know.

Like, if you're really sure that your friend's gonna die (many premonitions have something to do with death) TOMORROW, that's a premonition. But if someone told you that and you just forgot, it's not.

Ususally, premonitions are the result of an overactive imagination or paranoia, especially bizarre ones.

Of course, instinct is perfectly normal. Having a "hunch" is part of human nature. It's when you're absolutely positive that something, usually bad, will happen, without any real reason to think that way.

I've delt with plenty of people who have had "premonitions," and trust me, when they really start believing in them it's not pretty.

a premonition is a thought, idea, notion, glimpse, day dream, ral dream about something that is going to happen. premonitions do not necessarily have to be bad.
since i was in 11th grade, i've had an uncanny ability to see things clearly just before they happened. it's eery at first, but i've grown to see them as preparations for what is about to happen here in the present or into the future.
my major premonitions have been:
my breakup with the first love of my life----she sprung it on me out of nowhere, suddenly, swiftly, and with no looking back.
the year our only child was born---for some reason 1983 stood boldly in my mind at the start of the new year. 6 months later we did receive the call that a baby boy was ready to be adopted.
1988---my mother's death---two weeks before her fatal heart attack, i dreamed she died. in my sleep i wept, sobbed, and mourned her passing. two weeks later, when she did die, i was prepared, already knew the pain of losing her, and was able to cope much better with her passing.
1992---Super Bowl morning----i was dosing in m chair when i felt that my wife's sister needed and was caling her. my wife did call her sister and her sister did need help. two days later she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. within three months she died.
2000---felt certain that i was a shoe in for an administrative position within the school dsitrict where i work. within two weks time, i was appointed principal of our 4-6 building.
there isn't a week that goes by that i don't feel some glimpse that needs attention. it doesn't frighten me any longer. i just go along with what i'm hearing or seeing; mostly seeing.
you may be skeptic about what i just wrote. it is ALL true. i couldn't make this gift up.

Premonitions are feelings or visions of something to happen in the future. For some they are very strong and vivid, while others just have a vague sense of foreboding.

Premonitions are when you dream about something and it happens. Also if you have a gut feeling about something is not right or it is right. Also you could have a vision in your head while you are awake and it can happen.

I think intuition is the energy that ignites premonitions.
