Which would you reccommend as far as having the best quality service, phones, and pricing and easy access to phone cards in stores?

Personally I found Virgin Mobile to be a good fit. I hate contracts and they offer different plans even if you have no credit card. You can go on to cnet web site and find an area on there site to compare the different services out there. Hope this helps.

Well I'm no expert but I would not recommend Tracfone!!! Trust me, I know form experience, it was my first cell phone and I hated it!!! The problem is that the minutes seem to tick by so fast that it's like after one phone call half of your minutes are gone!!! Yea, it's great for an emergency....to call for help but I don't think so when it comes to calling a friend or if you plan to have a long conversation! There are several plans that go with that phone like 10 mins. all the way to 125 mins. and there is even a way to add mins. each month, I think it starts somewhere around 100 dollars?! I hope this has been helpful to you. I think you should do more research on each phone and then make your decision from there! Drop by the stores when you have some free time to talk with a sales person! Good luck, hope you're talking soon!

I've had Virgin Mobile for a couple of years and I'm very pleased. They have a variety of plans and sometimes offer bonuses or other special promotions to customers. The plan I've been on requires you to pre-pay $20 every three months in order to keep your number active. That's the money you draw on for your calls. On that plan, I pay 25 cents a minute for the first ten minutes on any given day, then 10 cents a minute thereafter. Those are high rates, but if you don't use your phone much, then the bottom-line cost is a lot less than paying $19.95 or more a month for free minutes you don't use. At least once since I've used VM, there was a promotion where you got to go for 12 months without "topping up" (paying in the quarterly $20) just by adding $60 by a certain date. I did that, I've been living off my balance for months, and I still have plenty of calls to make without paying another dime.

All i know is that tracphone is horrible. Dont use it. I used them for a year (because that was the "contract") and it wasted so much of my money.
