What a pain it is having to weed though these inane questions to find some good conversation.

I couldn't agree more! The worst part is that the questions that are really good get pushed down onto the second page for the crap questions! It's great that this actually bothers someone else besides me.

But you have to expect these questions! It is a part of the landscape. DId you expect a total stranger or an acquaintance at the office to offer some brilliant insight right on the get go in the conversation over coffee? Hardly.
You must have some good friends to provide the better conversation. Watch the games with them, and not with the amateurs<.:-]
