You won't find all of the answer to your question in these postings. I recommend studying and praying. If your Cristian read James chapter 1 verse 5 in the New Testament, God promises you the answer if your searching with a sincere hart.
Also be open to studying various religions, in the source list I have posted a link to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints web site. If you like their basic beliefs they will be happy to send people over to teach you more about about it.
In the interest of full disclosure many years ago I served a mission for the LDS church, teaching people about the beliefs. As well as helping them have a personal relationship with God. Now I am a Sunday school teacher for 14 and 15 year olds.
I do believe God is giving us Revelation today, and Prophets are once again on the Earth, as well as the True power of God (his priesthood) is here again.
One principle practiced by the LDS people is the ordnance's being preformed in the Temples for the dead, this allows for all people to receive the required ordnance's like baptism, thus showing Gods love and concern for all of his children.
Don't make any decisions on this subject with out seaking help from God directly, through the Holy Ghost he will answer you, if your seaking with real intent.
