hi mate ok here goes
the sky is blue firstly because of the gases found in our atmosphere and secondly the sun's rays reflect on the small dust and gas molecules to form what we think is the sky mostly oxygen and helium cause this effect

The suns light reflects off the earth's atmosphere. The color comes from the Earth not space.
