I'm on Cingular... if I buy a Blackberry or another non-Cingular PDA/phone, can I use it with my existing plan as long as it's listed as "unlocked"? Thanks!!

Yes, you can use it with any provider.

The only exception is if was previously reported stolen. You will not be able to use it in the country where the theft was registered

Yes supposedly if it is GSM unlocked then it should work with any sim card. I bought a cell phone on ebay that was unlocked and it does work with our plan.

No u can't use if it is say unlocked.

it means that you do not have not enabled the password protection and/or do not have a password
