If he cannot or will not be honest about his past, then you don't have a relationship to begin with. By the way, if you posted MY name in this forum, you wouldn't have to worry about having a boyfriend.

dont listen to the other responses there is some sites that do extensive background checks but you will need a few bucks and his social security number, ive done it and they go into detail from birth till the present
