No, your not.
The thing is, most of the people that are throwing the insults are whiners anyway.
President Bush is not my favorite person. Hell, I would like to see him out of office. But I firmly believe that any Democrat that would have been in office would have gotten the same rep as President Bush had all this happened under his (or her) watch.
Ignore all the loud people whining...it is a few compared to the vast majority...

As you stated we are not perfect and neither is Bush, however, time will tell that he is a great president. They mocked Reagan too! Try sitting in he's shoes and see what you would do. The onlny people that say he is worng and made bad decision are the opposite party and thats just politics. So far he was right in everything he has done. It may not be popular but he was right. I have a lot of respect for him and his administration. We live in a quick fix society with drive through coffee shops, and drive through marriages, and fast foods, so our society has become a quick fix it one and when there is not a quick fix to it, they think it's wrong and that America is wrong and the President is wrong. They forget how long reconstruction took for Japan and Germany!

A person can respect the Office without respecting the man. It's not like people who don't like the President are against the concept of the republic.
Without dissent, the President would become despotic, it's a proven fact of history.
I agree with you insofaras he deserves human dignity, but this man doesn't deserve to be President.

President Bush is great and I believe he has done some good things. He has made some minor mistakes as well. He is only human.
However, with all the crap going on in the world, he is a nobody, he is just a puppet. Any other president would have been in the same shoes as he is today.
Our world is run by powerful corporations! That is the bottom line.

I completely agree with you. So no, you are not alone. I find that most of the people that partake in the Bush-bashing are politically uneducated liberals who fail to read the papers on a daily basis and who neglected to vote. They don't know the first thing about politics or democracy or international terrorism. Their ignorance manifests itself as unfounded and immature insults hurled at our President. If they REALLY have a problem with Bush and want to discuss it intellectually and support their position with legitimate arguments and insight - fine. But I have met no one yet who can do that.

I am a liberal who usually votes Democrat. I do respect President Bush as a human being and I do not hurl juvenile insults at him. I completely agree with you on that. However, I have no respect for him at all as a President. Under this administration we have seen a new level of erosion of our cicil rights in this nation, an administration encouraged divisiveness that treatens the very fabric of who we are as a nation, an unprecedented decrease in our standing in the world, and well over 150,00 (conservatie estimate) total deaths in Iraq. Those are things I can never respect.

He's still the President and I still show respect. If there's a democrat president next,I will also show he or she the same respect as well. I don't have to agree on everything, but I don't have to screech like a bratty child either.

He is far from perfect but he was better than the other choices we had at election time.
I don't wish any politician ill in their personal lives.
I also don't see the need to go around so hateful all the time, even with respect to politicians I disagree with.
It's bad for the blood pressure!

I agree that he doesn't get the respect he deserves.
He was, after all, elected by the masses and should be treated with dignity. Yes, he makes mistakes, but he who is without fault should cast the first stone.
I get really offended when people call him Mr. Bush. He should be referred to as President Bush and, when he's out of office, Former President Bush. If Bill Clinton gets this treatment, then so should George Bush.
No one is going to agree with someone all of the time. I think that if the American's who hated him got their way and got him out of office, they'd find faults with the guy who took his place.
We all need to realize that the only way to change something is to vote in the next election. We only had around 40% of registered voters actually show up to the polls. Everyone needs to vote. If you don't, then you don't have a voice and shouldn't complain about the decisions that those of us that do vote make.
