Wow, that is quite the order!!!

Beetles are one of the top 4 hyper diverse orders on the planet. Scarabaeidae are not the most diverse family in the world, but they are one of them.
Your best bet would be to search possible on line journals either in Coleoptology or in Entomology, that focused on that area. I'm sure in a place like Namibia the Scarab fauna would be pretty numerous

I met them all last summer, and they are a thoroughly lovely bunch of beetles. I still keep in regular contact with them by email.
