I'm trying to learn about Dollfie, yes i know what they are and all. But they cost so much, when you go to the website, do you get to choose the hair and eyes and stuff when you buy them or is it only the ones they have made that you can get. Does anyone know about how ording and all goes.
Also I know there is a webring online or Lolita's in the Chicago,IL area, but i can't find them, they were at the convenshon last year, anime central. Does anyone know the website for them?

But anyway, to answer the question, some sites will take requests for hair and eye styles. Generally, if while ordering, you notice an optional box for comments, it means the company is open to suggestions. It's best to list a few styles, in case something is out of stock. To make sure you get what you want, its a good idea to choose the custom faceup option and list the eye and hair color when you tell them what you want on the doll.
Another cheaper option for you if you like ball jointed dolls may be Obitsu. They're cheaper, but they are not jointed. Theyre made of plastic.
Are you thinking of the NorthSide Chicago Lolitas, maybe? I see Lolita girls sometimes, but I've never been involved in the subculture.
