CIlia are similar to flagella, where organisms/cells rely on this for movement. There are cilia in your esophagus/lungs that disperse and clear mucous. A paramecium uses cilia to move around, if you are looking for a particular organsim.

Your eye lashes, they don't move as fast as cilia on microscopic animals, but they do serve the same purpose, by keeping dust and micro fragments out of your eye
