It is a matter of self esteem. I am 47, got remarried 3 years ago, got another two boys! I had a really bad phase though, yes, through my ex-gf (after divorce from 1st wife), and I really suffered, badly.
Never give up, but look after yourself and your appearance, and the company you keep!

If you do it is only to people who are very much younger, because they are only looking for their own age group.It is my experience that you become more visible when you are over forty. More sexy, more desirable more knowledgeable more interesting more fun. In fact you become very very visible indeed.
