I started just plain baby cereal at 5 months or so. It took a lot of patience though. I believe the stage 1 was introduced to my baby at around 6 months. HAve Fun!

Welll the doctor tells you that when your infant is 4 months you can start him on Stage 1 baby foods. You should use Stage 1 until they are 6 months and then you move onto the Stage 2. Then when your child gets to 8 months you start him on Stage 3 baby foods. Usually have 10 or 11 months you could give him some table food!!

month 3: mixed biscuits (gluten-free) with apple
month 4: vegetable puree (half a potato, celery, a lettuce leaf)
also month 4: banana mixed with sweet cheese
month 5: chicken added to puree
That's at least the recommendation of our family doctor. Now depends of course on how well the baby receives the food.

They have a reflex in the beginning that kind of makes them spit the food out with their tongue (it's a sort of sucking reflex thing). When they quit doing that (usually after 6-7 months) then you can introduce purees. Good luck!

4. Thats the medical consensus right now. Starting with cereal, and then fruit baby food in cereal, and on to other things from there.
