It may do....but its not Pure love. It lacks action and creation, it resides in HOPE.
Time will pass and hope will linger, your feelings may grow but not necessarily in line with that which you are loving......
Pursue that which you long for.
Always know love in truth.
The pleasure and the pain are meant to coexist naturally...without one, the other would have no measure..... nor would forward movement be possible.........

i don't think so. if a person longs for someone, then they start to idolize the person that they long for, and attribute abilities to the idolized that the person being idolized does not actually have. the longed for person has no faults. loving is the acceptance of all faults and attributes, acceptance of a whole, real person, without changing the person. you can wish they might change a habit, but you always support and are there for the person you love when they need you and vice versa. make sense?

I don't think so. I think of longing as the infatuation zone, once you get past that, you know you've got something special. It just depends on what your idea of love is. I find people get crushed and lost in the "Cinderella" impression of love.
