is this a muscle spasm or what?

my stomach area on the left side by my ribs, has been like twitching since last night. i can feel my heartbeat there andg granted it doesnt hurt, but it is irritating. is this a muscle spasm or something else?

a spasm tends to be painful as opposed to a twitch....not much help huh...if it doesn't hurt its a twitch, when it hurts its a spasm....just keep massaging it and it will go away eventually. You can feel your heartbeat because its much stronger during pregnancy.

ive had that too....i think its a muscle spasm.....very annoying...good luck to you
