They are right, you cannot get rid of them - However, there are products that claim to minimize them over time, and I recommend using concealer too. A product called Hylexin (which you can get at Macy's and Sephora) is designed to fade them over time. My favorite concealer is MAC Select Cover-Up, it works great.
Dark circles that never go away are generally genetic, and unfortunately, can get worse as we get older. Good nutrition, sleep, and hydration is always a smart idea, but these things will not "cure" dark circles you have genetically. A good dermatologist may be able to improve the appearance of the wrinkles with chemical peels or dermabrasion, but the pigment will not go away.
Good luck!!!

I have this problem too, but the circles are not too dark. I asked the same question as you a few days ago. People advised different products, including Bobbi Brown (maybe I should try that, if it wokrs for you too). Anywho, so I went to Target and bought some Neutrogena Eye Cream, which is meant to lighten the skin around your eyes and remove dark circles. I can't remember the exact name of it...sorry. But you'll see it. it's a small bottle and cost about $13. I use Neutrogena products and they are great, so I'm sure that this will work well also! Good Luck! :o)

Dark under eye circles are caused by thin under eye skin. To help thicken them up (therefore eliminating dark circles), be sure to stay hydrated and I also have found Philosophy's Hope in a Tube to work very well. It takes about a week of applying AM and PM before you see any real results, but it's the only thing that is remotely affordable that works (in my experience.) You can get it pretty cheap on eBay, too. Good luck!

I don't think cosmetics do much to get rid of wrinkles but you could try a retinol cream or a product such as Olay regenerist. If you are really determined to remove wrinkles, a consultation with a dermatologist/plastic surgeon might be a good idea.

There are some good cosmetics but it's best to get a really good one like dermalogica, they do the best for tired eyes/wrinkles/dark circles.. Ask at your local salon or you could always have some surgery!!
Good luck!

i have this too and i have always hated it and struggled for a good concealer. i went to my dermatologist. you can't remove them. they are just blood vessels closer to the surface then normal, and the skin there is already thin so they show up. i use an eye cream before my concealer. a tightening, brightening. it reflects light minimizing cirlces and tightens to minimize lines. Clinique all about eyes is great. currently using mary kay concealer but i never really find one i like. good luck. i feel yoour pain!

OK the best product to use for dark circles and puffy eyes is Strivectin. You can get it from Bath & Body Works, Macys any store of that nature. It works realy realy well. don't bother using anything else this is well worth it.
